PKN Wakefield is a new addition to the PKN circuit having started life here in March 2011. Led by city organiser The Art House, the events are run in partnership with The Hepworth Wakefield.
Wakefield is located in West Yorkshire and has undergone some amazing developments in recent years, particularly in the visual arts. This includes the development of Yorkshire Sculpture Park; the opening of the uniquely accessible Art House as a managed studio space; and the launch of The Hepworth Wakefield - the UK's largest contemporary art gallery outside of London. It's truly a new place to put on your creative map!
PKN Wakefield was set up to encourage networking, collaboration and the sharing of knowledge and interests between all people working in the creative and cultural sectors in the Yorkshire region.
